**The Role**

As an HGV or Trailer Mechanic you will be responsible for maintaining the Company’s fleet of vehicles and trailers which include pneumatic tankers, tippers and curtain sides. You will service, prepare for PSV, periodically check and generally maintain the fleet. Duties include:

- Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance.
- Prepare HGV and trailers for PSV
- Conduct regular servicing.
- Respond to roadside breakdowns.
- Communicate professionally with drivers.
- Complete administrative duties when required.

**Your profile**
- You must be a qualified or time-served vehicle or trailer mechanic
- You must have demonstrable knowledge and proven record of HGV or trailer maintenance and repair.
- You must be able to work to deadlines in a busy and demanding garage, have excellent problem solving, analytical, organisational and decision making skills.
- You should have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Class 1 HGV licence is desirable but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
