As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. You will need to have excellent communication and listening skills and be able to deal objectively and professionally in a calm and approachable manner when liaising with patients, staff, healthcare professionals and outside agencies.

**Requirements**:

- Ensure that all patients and visitors at reception are greeted professionally and politely and log their arrival into the clinical computer system to record attendance.
- Experience working in Healthcare / General Practice.
- Experience in EMIS.
- Open premises and complete security checks, ensure all clinical rooms are prepared at the beginning and end of each day and perform the closure procedure to set alarms and lock premises (as and when required).
- Deal with administrative queries and requests from patients that visit the practice, referring these to the Primary Care Hub as appropriate.
- Process any patient repeat prescription requests that are received by the Practice on the clinical system.
- Always ensure patient confidentiality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
