As you’d expect from the UK’s number one vehicle glass specialist, Autoglass ® uses only the highest quality Original Equipment Manufacturer-standard glass for our customers.
Our Technicians fit over 1 million pieces of glass each year which means that our Supply Chain, Laddaw ®, is responsible for sourcing the best quality glass in a dependable and sustainable way.
Transporting large amounts of glass over long distances without damage presents its own challenges, which is why our Supply Chain team, Laddaw®, are experts in Warehouse Management and Logistics Our technology means we have the ability to track stock movements with absolute accuracy to always ensure that our Technician has the right piece of glass available, for the right customer at the right time.
What does a day with us look like?
Based in one of our smaller Distribution Centres you will be part of a team receiving and unpacking glass, picking glass, and loading vans for delivery across the UK or for Wholesale customers.
You will have responsibility for accepting deliveries, ensuring that items are received and put away in an accurate and timely fashion. From time to time you may also be making deliveries within the local area yourself.
You will also provide excellent customer service for both internal and external (Wholesale) customers at the counter, processing their sales and returns and handling cash when required.
Covering a 42-hour week on a rota basis you will be working on the day shift, which will include some weekend and bank holiday working. The wellbeing and work life balance of our people is really important, so you will always have your rota well in advance to help you in planning your time away from work.
So, what are we looking for?
Our Mini Distribution Centres (MDCs) are a hub of activity with glass being delivered and collected daily. Each day our Warehouse Operatives and Drivers will be in direct contact with Technicians from Autoglass® and customers so you must be happy to interact with customers and also be able to handle the multi-tasking Retail and Warehouse elements of the role.
Each day will bring something new, testing your ability to think on your feet and solve problems with real care whilst maintaining a strong customer focus.

- Salary of £26,732.16
