We have exciting new opportunities for Shift Leaders within the Stairlift factory in Andover.

We are looking for Shift Leaders in the assembly and fabrication / paint plant areas of the factory.

As a shift leader you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to production teams to achieve operational targets and objectives.

You will support the production manager to deliver customer demand, meet cost, quality and productivity targets.

These are great roles to help drive continuous improvement in pursuit of world-class manufacturing performance, with a proactive focus on short to medium term solutions.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels will be key to the role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day leadership, motivation, and direction to the production teams
- Ensure daily build targets are met
- Collaborate with production engineering, planning, purchasing and maintenance
- Manage some budget elements temporary labour, overtime, consumables
- Champion health & safety and environment improvements
- Manage training for the production team
- Ensure all shipments meet the required high standards of quality

**Qualifications**
- Ideal applicants will have CMI L3 or NVQ L2 as a minimum in team leading
- Computer literacy is essential
