Our local client is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join the company Based in Andover in Hampshire.

U/S is an established Ballistics company that design and produces innovative and modern Protection equipment for the Military, Police and security sector.

This role will suit a hands-on multi-disciplined Team Leader, who is very experienced in manufacturing and bringing full systems together and feels confident in making decisions.

We are looking for a Team Leader to support the Operations Manager and lead the activities of the Shield section area and team. Leading by example, the person for the role will drive the performance of the process function.

Lead by example by having a progressive, flexible approach to working and be willing to work hard and have a hands on approach.
Able to motivate, and lead their team to deliver operational results
Have experience in working as a team leader in a manufacturing environment taking into account cost implication; systems knowledge to carry out process order closures at the end of product runs, problem solving mindset to carry out any necessary investigationand adjustments to ensure accuracy
Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements including Health and Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise), ISO Standards and HR related policies & procedures
Achieve the Production Area Operations directives on a daily, monthly and annual basis.
Work effectively with Operations Manager and monitor daily, weekly and monthly KPIs and targets of the area
Work effectively and partner with opposite leads and other business areas to ensure product quality and continuous improvement
Able to interpret and achieve the production plan on a daily basis
Able to identify and correctly match individual’s skills to tasks
Actively seek to improve performance and be target focussed
