**Cleaning Team Leader**:
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Waterloo (Becket House)

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our Facilities Management team at our head office in Waterloo. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

**The role**:

- To lead the cleaning team, ensuring all areas of the building are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Overseeing staff performance on a daily basis
- Working with the cleaning team to ensure all general cleaning duties are completed as required, including but not limited to the following, cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish
- Checking offices and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness.
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment used is cleaned and returned to designated storerooms in a safe and tidy manner after use
- Educating staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
- Monitoring of cleaning and toilet consumables, ordering additional material as required to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and ensure consumables are distributed to cleaning cupboards.
- Undertaking accurate monthly stock takes of cleaning consumables
- Performing regular quality checks of the standard of cleaning and reporting as required
- Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

**The person**:

- Previous experience leading a team together with good knowledge of cleaning service provision is essential
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Good standard of both written and spoken communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations, COSHH and safe working practices
