An outstanding SEND School based in East London, is looking for a caring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP.

This Community school located in the borough of Barking & Dagenham, are looking to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. Through a large investment, theschool has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities consist of sesnory rooms, calm rooms, basketball court and a separate SEND Early-Years Site.

The school has great public transport links nearby with an Overground station and the EL1 bus stop located right in front of the school.

**SEND Teaching Assistant **

As well as joining a very successful school, you will also become part of a fantastic department. You will be working alongside a very supportive team and be provided training and guidance from the school. You will be required to provide support to pupils,teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils. You will be required to work with a selection of students on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as giving in class support. You will need to have an excellent understandingof the learning needs of the students with whom you work. This may include liaising with colleagues within the SEND Team, and accessing relevant attainment data. The school are looking for someone to join their team immediately who is able to commit to thefull academic year.

**The right applicant will: **
- Have prior experience as a support worker, SEN teaching assistant or care worker
- Be open to proving personal care
- Have a desire to develop their understanding of SEND
- Have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
