About the School We work with a warm and inclusive primary school in Barking that is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, supported and celebrated for who they are. Role Overview As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have additional learning and social needs. Your role will help them engage with their learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills. Personal care, including toileting and intermittent support, is shared amongst the team. You Will Be Supporting children with Autism and complex needs within a primary classroom Assisting with communication and sensory strategies Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised support Providing care and encouragement that helps children flourish emotionally and academically What We Are Looking For Previous experience supporting children with Autism and complex needs A kind, patient and adaptable approach A genuine passion for inclusive education Willingness to assist with personal care as part of a supportive team Why This Role Stands Out This is not just another agency role.
