**The role**:
We're on the hunt for an experienced telephone based lead generation professional to join our Regional Sales Team within the FreeAgent Accountancy Practice Division. This role is focusing on the effective generation of out-bound sales opportunities to Accountancy Practices and the qualification of these prospects to feed into the top of the sales funnel.
**Day-to-day here’s what you can expect**:
- You'll be outbound calling warm prospect lists to create sales generated leads for our sales team to convert into FreeAgent partners - qualifying these prospects, gaining commitment and enough interest to classify these leads as early stage sales opportunities.
- You'll be the expert - researching, connecting with and educating new prospects, growing the database of prospects in your assigned territory, responding to pre-sales product related queries, interacting with prospective partners to provide information and give insight into the host of benefits which FreeAgent offers.
- You'll be working alongside a Business Development Manager to support the growth of existing partners.
- You'll be an ambassador for the FreeAgent product - you'll confidently and professionally present the FreeAgent software throughout the lead generation process, keep up with any product updates and represent FreeAgent at events, exhibitions etc. as required.
- You'll be keeping track - you'll be on top of maintaining appropriate records within the FreeAgent systems, managing the status, records and forecasting for prospective clients.
- You'll be in the driving seat You'll be efficiently managing your diary, planning meetings and reporting back on progress in a structured and timely manner. There may be occasional travel required.

- demonstrable experience in an outbound sales role
- a proven record of achieving lead targets along with a self-reliant and self-motivated attitude
- excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with an eagerness to learn and develop professionally and personally
- enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a high level of competence in office based technology
- the drive to succeed in a sales and merit-based environment
**Perks**:
Annual salary** £23,100 - £25,750** per annum depending on experience, plus a competitive uncapped commission structure.

This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). This role will be based in our Edinburgh office, however, there will be an opportunity to adopt hybrid working, working under an agreed pattern from both the office and at home each week.
