Medical Receptionist

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure that every phone call is handled in a courteous and professional manner and that all visitors are appropriately attended to
Responsible for directing inquiries accordingly
Ensure the safe keep of information displayed for member use and update it regularly
Ensure that the entry desk premises are kept tidy and clean at all times
Responsible for checking the state of stationery, medication and non-medication stock
Provide support, mostly administrative to other members of staff according to the directives of the Practice Manager
Assist doctors with queries throughout the day, liaise that all treatment rooms and equipment are available and ready for operation
Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Answer screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
Take payments from the patients
Close daily accounts
Routine office operations, support Practice Manager in daily activities
Participate in audits and risk assessments
**Requirements**:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in healthcare admin work
Effective use of English
Russian, Lithuanian or Romania language would be an advantage
Knowledge of standard procedures and practices in an office
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Professional attitude and appearance
Ability to flow well with visitors to the clinic, and also maintain a co-operative relationship with other staff
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service skills
Basic medical knowledge is a big advantage
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
