A brand-new opportunity has arisen for a Program Manager - Electronics based in Fareham, Hampshire to join a leading manufacturer of complex electronics equipment that is sold into the marine industry all over the world.
You will be joining a well-established R&D team at a company who invest heavily in product development across challenging and diverse projects.
The successful Program Manager - Electronics will report to the VP of engineering and working closely with 6/7 project managers, looking after a portfolio of 20+ projects.
The main responsibilities of the Program Manager - Electronics role will be to:
- Manage a portfolio of 20+ projects making sure all projects are delivered on time and to the agreed specification.
- Coach project managers to make sure the right process is followed throughout.
- Manage inter-project dependencies
- Work closely with the product management team to define and deliver the solution roadmap
- Manage closely with the supply chain team to improve relationship with EMS partners
- Work closely with functional managers to Continuously improve the company's NPI process
These are the essential skills/experience required for the Program Manager - Electronics role:
- Demonstrable experience managing complex programs with interdependencies
- Experience of Agile techniques
- Experience of risk, schedule and cost management
- Experience in an electronics OEM environment
