We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our friendly, busy pharmacy team. The position is based in our Dispensaries team, which provide the service to our Inpatient and Outpatient dispensaries.

The successful person must be adaptable to undertake the varied workload, ideally with an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or willing to undertake this within three months of starting the post. You will be fully supported by our highly qualified and enthusiastic team, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers who provide a wide variety of pharmacy services to the Trust.

This essential post provides the opportunity for a committed person to learn pharmacy skills with both new and innovative technology and systems within a busy outpatient and inpatient dispensary and Pharmacy service.
1. Assist in the accurate receipt, storage, supply, issue and distribution of stock pharmaceuticals, including intravenous fluids to wards, departments and external customers
2. Be responsible for the assessment of and subsequent re-cycling, returning or disposal of stock from the ward areas against agreed criteria.
