**The role**
This new L&D and HR role sits within the HR Department of our small growing business (circa 60 employees), we’re looking for a passionate person to help develop our staff and work closely with managers.
**The role**:
**Learning & Development**
- Ensure teams are equipped with the right skills, knowledge, and behaviours to effectively carry out their roles and meet the needs of the customer
- Develop and implement bespoke training programmes aligned with organisational objectives (e.g. Tedaisy Academy, new starter inductions etc)
- Planning and coordinating training sessions and programmes
- Identify and analyse learning needs that are in line with organisational and individual needs - working closely with people managers and heads of departments
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, on-site learning, workshops, online training)
- Evaluate training initiatives by measuring success and ROI
- Explore apprenticeship schemes and evaluating suitability for the business
- Acting as an expert advisor to the business on L&D matters, advising on how best to address development needs or issues
**People**
- Work closely with managers across the organisation to help develop their team members and retain talent (PDPs)
- Answer and respond to queries from employees and managers across a wide range of topics (policies, contract, process etc.)
- People Project work as directed by the Head of Culture & People
- Assist with interviews, disciplinary and grievance meetings as required
- Holiday cover for the People Coordinator

**About you**:
- Passionate about helping people learn and grow
- Previous experience organising or developing training and advising managers regarding employee development
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor role or similar
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Experience with reporting and presenting ROI
- Experience within insurance or regulated industries is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written, spoken and presenting
- Consistently demonstrating strong people values, a positive mindset and a creative approach whilst working with others towards successful business outcomes

- Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm
- A growing, friendly office in the heart of Salisbury
