Our Finance team operate at the heart of IAG Loyalty, providing company-wide information management, finance support, and Avios currency reporting.

The department has high exposure to IAG, and provides efficient, accurate and reliable information that adds true value to our decision-making process. We now have an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Executive who will relish change and constantly strive to drive through improvements in how we operate.

**At a glance**

This is varied role, that will see you have exposure and influence across a range of internal and external stakeholders. You'll be responsible for the financial reporting on the Avios transactions of a number of IAG Group operating companies loyalty schemes members (i.e. Aer Lingus and Vueling), as well as the reporting on intragroup overhead recharges.

You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate across IAG Loyalty, including (but not limited to) our data teams to ensure accurate reporting, the Commercial Finance team to provide actionable insights, Payables and Receivables to ensure timely settlement with IAG Group operating companies;
We seek highly professional people who can deliver commitments on time, whilst communicating with colleagues from all levels of the organisation as well as within the IAG group.

**How else will you add value**:

- By partnering with relevant IAG Group operating companies on financial reporting processes;
- You'll carry out month end activities, including the preparation and posting of journals within SAP;
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and subsequent reviews to challenge the reported balances;
- You'll have responsibility for tracking intragroup balances to agree settlement balances and raise invoices;
- Providing quality audit evidence for internal and external audit requests.

What we're looking for (but even if you don't have everything on this list we'd still love to hear from you
- You'll ideally be a part qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) and a background in reporting would also be desirable;
- SAP experience would be a bonus, but not essential
- You're an ambitious individual striving to develop their knowledge and technical skills within financial reporting
- Ability to work independently, continuously seeking opportunities for change and improvement with a ‘can do'/ ‘resolution based' attitude to make these a reality;
- You have an innovative mindset - you're someone with a sense of urgency who is excited to create something new, iterate, make mistakes and learn
- An engaging communicator, with the ability to influence diverse audiences
- Able to adapt to new situations and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility at all times in a fast pace environment;
- Strong at building effective relationships;

This role will be based out of IAGL's London Victoria office. We have a flexible working policy where a blended approach is encouraged, with the focus on being in the correct location for the work that needs to be undertaken. This will involve a mix of office and home working
