The King’s Foundation is headquartered at its flagship regeneration project, Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, and acts as custodian of other historic Royal sites including the Castle of Mey in Caithness, Scotland, and Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire, which are open to visitors.

**Location**:

**The Role**:
The post holder will be part of the Education Office team, ensuring smooth running of the entire Education Office by carrying out administrative tasks and will work closely with Education Coordination Manager, Education Coordinator, and whole Education team. This role will be office based.

**Key Tasks**:

- Responsible for the maintenance of accurate records, systems, and paperwork
- Main point of contact for school day bookings.
- Liase with schools to obtain necessary information required for school visits.
- Liase with schools and education departments to ensure smooth delivery of school visits and education workshops.
- Assist with the tracking and monitoring of student progress and performance in consultation with Education Managers/Coordinators and Education Director including updating booking master and calendar for school day visits and certificated programmes.
- Compile regular data reports on attendance stats for evaluation purposes.
- Compile and support evaluation feedback from completed programmes and workshops.
- Liaise with education departments in regard to minibus bookings.
- Initial point of contact for general Education enquires.

**Promotion**
- Create leaflets and literature to promote programmes and activities.

**Finance**
- Manage the invoicing of school visit and hire fees.

**General**
- General support as necessary of the wider education offering at Dumfries House and assisting when required with events both on the estate and offsite.
- Maintain familiarity with The King’s Foundation handbook and relevant HR procedures.
- Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required of you in the post.

It is in the nature of the work of the King's Foundation that tasks and responsibilities are, in many circumstances, unpredictable and varied. All staff are therefore expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises that tasks which are not specifically covered in their Job Description must be undertaken.

**Person Specification**:
Essential skills, Knowledge and Experience
- A track record in an administrative role.
- Data tracking / managing information systems.
- Ability to work proactively and flexibly under pressure and to achieve set objectives.
- Open and positive communication style.
- Strong written communication.
- Administrative and project support experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to communicate efficiently and clearly in spoken and written language with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office packages with good knowledge of Excel.

**Desirable**:

- Familiar with Mailchimp and creating external communications.
- Familiar with creating promotional literature.
