Account Executive

Do you have an affinity for new technology? Are you an entrepreneurial sales individual with 2+ years in SaaS sales? A leading software vendor is currently looking for an Account Executive to join their sales team.
**The role**
As an Account Executive, you’ll create engaging proposals and presentations that showcase how our client’s solutions can meet the commercial and technical needs of customers. This role offers you autonomy to build your own sales pipeline and become a primarypoint of contact for customers in global key accounts, through which you will long-term, trusted relationships in order to win new business and expand existing to drive revenue growth.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Hitting and exceeding sales quota
- Learning the technical requirements of our client’s solutions
- Meeting clients in both virtual and in-person settings
- Demonstrating the product portfolio
- Translating complex information into simple messages
- Developing and executing business plans
- Maintaining and reporting an accurate sales forecast
**The requirements**:
- Degree educated in Business or another relevant discipline (desirable)
- High level of business intelligence and commercial acumen
- Innovative and able to create compelling business cases
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships
- Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Charismatic with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficient computer literacy skills (including Salesforce and MS Office)
- Highly organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects
- Flexible and willing to travel
- Ideally based in Newcastle
