As chair, your experience and skills will help give our students the best opportunities to thrive and achieve.
- You will have governance experience and knowledge of the education sector.
- You will lead the governing body in shaping strategy and holding the leadership team to account.
- You will support the students and staff to be the best they can be.

This position would suit someone with management experience and a keen interest in the development of young people and education.

The LGB meets 4 times per year (twice in the autumn term and once in both the spring and summer terms). The Chair of Governors would also be expected to attend Strategic Progress Board meetings (again 4 times per year). Meetings are approximately 2-2.5 hours long. In addition to these meetings, the Chair and Vice Chair meet monthly with the Principal.
