**Role**:Production Operative

**Shift**: multiple shifts available - 6am
- 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am (Monday to Friday pattern)

**Salary**:starting from £23,224.55

**The role**

You’ll work in our production facility, helping us to make nourishing pet food.

You’ll need to:

- Be prepared to work with raw meat materials
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be capable of manual handling tasks (including moving raw materials)
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in order to follow procedures safely and efficiently
- Be able to work to deadlines
- Maintain hygiene standards - we are a food factory. Full training will be given to work to expected standards

The role will also involve:

- Operating certain machines such as bin lifts and mixers; training will be provided
- Carrying out pre-start checks on your area of responsibility to verify our safe ways of workings are being adhered to
- Recording of data electronically on factory floor touch screens as well as some paper-based documents (this requires good written English)
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and keeping waste to a minimum
