CNC Machinist

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Programming Hurco CNC lathe & Mill using Hurco MAX 5 controls
- Loading and setting machines efficiently to maximise production output
- Ensure all jobs are complete on time and to the desired quality
- Measure parts to ensure they are within drawing specification
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures
- Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot machine errors and perform adjustments as needed
- Essential to have previous experience using Hurco MAX 4/5 Controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail - work to tight dimensional tolerances
- 5 years + programming, setting and operating CNC lathes & Mills
- Competent in using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Able to work independently without daily supervision
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and driven
