CNC Machinist Letchworth Permanent Role £18 - £22 per hour CNC Machining Programmer / Setter About the Company: Our Client is a Letchworth based company specialising in Prototypes & Low Volume Production Sheet Metal Pressings, Stampings and Fabrication to the Highest Quality, working in many different sectors. Customers include Ford motors, Lockheed Martin, Warner brothers and McLaren. ROLE: Working with the team to program Doosan Machining centresResponsible for setting up the machines, performing first off checks to confirm quality.The majority of the jobs produced are one off press tools for our in-house stamping teamRun the Cutter paths to get the optimal times and cuts using the high end tooling purchased.Liaise with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure on time delivery. Requirements: Knowledge of CNC milling is essential The role requires manual liftingActively seek opportunities for Continuous Improvement.Knowledge of a cad package would be an advantage.Knowledge of Delcam or Space claim software would be an advantage, (training will be given to the right applicant)The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
