Our Inpatient team in Glasgow Hospital currently have an opportunity for an Inpatient Administrator.
As an Inpatient Administrator, you’ll be a conscientious individual with a helpful, supportive approach. Your ‘can do’ attitude shines through. As well as a natural flair for communicating, both over the phone and in person, you bring strong organisation and administration skills.
As an Inpatient Administrator you will;
Obtaining relevant information for the patient from consultant or NHS board.
Liaising between consultant and patient to book both theatre time, pre op and Covid swabs.
Administer and process all documentation within agreed specified timescales.
Manage all patient queries.
The Person
As an experienced Customer Service individual you will have the following skills;
Previous experience working in a fast paced customer service environment
Demonstrable ability to prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent telephone Manner
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Good working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, bespoke database
Excellent attention to detail
An understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures
