**Human Resources Administrator (Part-Time, 18.5 hrs p/wk)**
**Main Responsibilities**
- Process contracts for new employees and change of contracts for current employees
- Set up new starters ensuring they’ve completed all Onboarding
- Right to Work Checks and DBS Checks
- Manage the shared mailbox answering queries or forward onto the relevant department
- Maintain and update the Organisational Chart
- Production of daily and weekly reports
- Ensuring all processing meets audit requirements
- Ensuring new starters are entered on to the HR & payroll system within set deadlines
- Complete reference requests
- Provide support to the wider HR Team
- Control vacancy requests in-line with budget headcount and that correct authorisation has been received to recruit new starters
- Liaise with other departments to ensure all system access is in place for new starters
- Previous experience within an administration role
- Experience of working in an HR administration role would be an advantage
- Educated GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines
- Good written skills with the ability to compose business letters and related correspondence
- Excellent, accurate typing skills with demonstrable knowledge of Word and Excel. Mail merge knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong customer and quality focus, and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with Colleague Support Services’ clients
- Excellent telephone manner
- A team player who enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary open plan office environment
- Basic knowledge of employment law in relation to contracts, salary and eligibility to work in the UK would be an advantage
- Previous experience of entering data on to an HR or Payroll system would be an advantage
