**Marsden Building Society** have an exciting opportunity available for a **Head of People**to join our team based in **Nelson, Lancashire**with the flexibility of a hybrid working model. You will join us on a **full

**Key responsibilities as our Head of People will include**:

- Overseeing the progressive people practices to keep The Marsden a great place to work.
- Monitor and take action to achieve our KRI’s retain/improve our internal engagement scores.
- Provide support to the Line Managers on people-related matters.
- Leading on all employee relations issues, including complex and sensitive matters.
- Manage internal communication projects (like job satisfaction surveys).
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to ensure compliance with mandatory training and conduct rules.
- Oversight and responsibility for Recruitment, Training, HR, HR systems, Health & Safety, Estates & Facilities.
- Comply with Financial Services regulatory requirements and lead on the FCA Certification regime process.

**What are we looking for in our Head of People?**
- Accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and evidence of CPD
- Highly experienced in a senior human resources position with an overall understanding of all aspects of the HR function within a growing business and of current employment legislation
- Experience in leading change and developing ways of improving HR/people processes
- Experience implementing KPIs and leading a business that is supported by them
- A forward-thinking mentality with a desire to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment
- Excellent communicator with the ability to operate at any level within the business
