Recycling Service Operative

**HGV APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING OFFERED TO SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES IN ROLE.**

Main duties:

- Safely operate vehicle and manage workload to complete all collections in a timeous manner.
- Record collection data on handheld mobile technology.
- Establish rapport with clients in an open and engaging manner, maintaining courteous and positive disposition at all times.
- Identify opportunities to deliver additional services.
- Communicate effectively on a day to day basis, understand agreed service levels and ensure these are upheld.
- Support other team members as directed by line manager.

**Experience**:

- Commitment to customer service and safe working practices
- Previous experience of driving 3.5t vehicles is advantageous
- Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

**Requirements**:

- Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and health screening
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate collection records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet agreed service levels

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
