You will be joining a team of talented individuals driven to revolutionise the software development industry. The Co-Founders established the company in 2020 and since then, they've achieved tremendous success, delivering outstanding software solutions toclients across various sectors and tripling the size of their company in just three years. As a result, they've been recognised as a top Startup, nominated for Startup of the Year two years in a row.
You are going to be the first Sales person to join their company. Daunting? Possibly. Exciting? Very much so
Up until now they have been using a Lead Generation company to assist with their prospects. However due to increasing success and ever evolving projects, they are now looking to move this in house.
Your role then, will be focusing on the beginning of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, and booking them in to discovery sessions with the Founders. You certainly won't be left to your own devices though. Thereare existing leads in place already, and you will also have access to a number of market leading lead generation tools to help maximise your outreach. Additionally, you will be working closely with the Founders who are extremely supportive and will alwaysensure you are given the right guidance.
They don't see this role stopping here. The plan will be to naturally grow the sales team over time, and with you being the first Sales person and being responsible for growing the business, the end goal will be for you to move into a Senior Sales Position,managing a team of BDEs.

**Responsibilities**
- To grow a pipeline of leads with the support of various lead generation tools
- To manage the conversion pipeline, appropriately managing all current and lapsed leads
- To understand and handle objectives, turning them into business opportunities
**Person specification**
- Experience/Understanding of software sales
- A hunger to over achieve targets
- A good sense of initiative and is able to make quick decisions
- Can read between the lines and seek out opportunities
- Good at rapport building, and can offer bespoke solutions based on buying signals
- A passion for sales and technology
Want to hear about the numbers? So the starting basic salary will be circa 25k - 28k. But as we all know, true Sales people are more interested in the full package You will be offered up to 15% commission on all converted clients. When considering the averageorder value is 30k-40k, then there is a lot of opportunity to considerably bump up what you take home. Basically, if you make them a lot of money, they you'll make a lot of money.
