**Job overview**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Pharmacy Team.

You will be based on our wards working with our team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to support the provision of a ward-based medicines management service to patients within the Trust.

You will require an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services, or equivalent community dispensing qualification.

Please note: Training will be provided for NVQ level 2 if not already obtained as this is an essential qualification for the post.

**Main duties of the job**:

- To order medicines as part of the Pharmacy ward team and to recycle medicines on the ward.
- To support the ward technician and pharmacist in the supply of discharge medication at ward level.
- To support ward staff in storing medicines appropriately on the wards as per CQC requirements.
- To put medicines away on the ward in the clinics and to transfer medicines between wards
- To dispense medication for inpatients, outpatients and discharges.

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services OR
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above. 2 of which must include Maths and English
