**The Role**

We are looking for a talented Health and Safety Officer to join our company on a full-time basis (40hrs/week). You will be responsible for keeping the wheels moving safely in our workshops across the country. You will need to be conscientious, flexible and have a can-do attitude. Most importantly, you will be making yourself invaluable to the scheme and the wider community. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting bike and scooter-share providers and maintain an integral role in our operations team.
- Develop and embed a safety culture across the different workshops
- Understand and advise on HSE process improvements to Beryl operating sites
- Conduct Risk Assessments for our different sites, report and follow up on actions
- Keep on top of compliance and (re-)training requirements
- To compile reports relating to HSQ performance and where required present findings
- Identify any gaps between HSE guidelines and on-street Operational safety and develop and implement improvement plans with scheme leads, escalating any issues with achieving standards
- Attend client meetings and provide health and safety advice where required
- Establish and maintain an appropriate (safe) equipment list and regularly audit schemes to identify any gaps - escalating any issues for schemes unable to obtain or use the approved equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Needs to be able to travel frequently
- Hold or willing to obtain a technical qualification (e.g. NEBOSH National General Certificate or IOSH equivalent)
- Experience and working knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
- Good IT skills (Google/Microsoft)
