A leading Ground Worker in the Northeast with over 40 years experience of producing quality work are looking for an experienced QS/Buyer to support the Managing Director, General Manager and our on-going projects across the Northeast.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to) tendering and taking off quantities from drawings, preparing Bill of Quantities for presenting to clients, preparing costings, procurement of materials and plant, recording of delivery info, checking and signingoff invoices for payment, dealing with invoices queries/issues, gathering, filling and distributing relevant product and project info; maintaining stock levels to determine inventory levels; data entry on spread sheets and ensuring all tools/plant/equipmentare maintained through the correct channels. You will work alongside the General Manager

To qualify you will have prior experience in buying, quantity surveying, tendering and estimating. Ideally this will be within Groundworks or Civil Engineering, coupled with a relevant qualification or have at least 5 years worked based experience. You mustbe computer literate and experience in Excel Spread Sheets is a must. You must have good office experience in scheduling, typing, documentation skills with strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be hard working, able to work to the highestof standards, demonstrate attention to detail, flexible and extremely reliable.
