Key Responsibilities:

- Take a proactive approach to the implementation of health and safety initiatives and developing continuous improvement across various sites
- Undertake and support routine safety tours and behavioural safety observations in all areas of the site
- Engage with employees, visitors and contractors on health and safety topics
- Record significant findings and act on any issues raised in a timely manner.
- Maintenance of the site health and safety management system, procedures, and action tracking ensuring correct data is reported to group level.
- To attend appropriate meetings to ensure that health and safety information is being communicated, issues are being dealt with and appropriate advice given
- Supporting the site hygiene and environment manager with environmental audits, monitoring systems and planning for emergencies

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**
- During your apprenticeship you will undergo remote learning through live webinars, forums, one to ones with a dedicated learning coach. You will receive constant feedback and coaching through RISQCOM’s team of experienced learning coaches.

**Qualifications**

GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade A*/9 to C/5) Desired

Formal Health and SAfety trainig would be an advantage for this role.
