**Stone and Long is a small professional letting agency based in Nottingham city centre we pride ourselves on providing a high level of service for our Landlords and tenants.**

**The role**

Lettings is a diverse, hands-on business which has a range of tasks which need completing in an efficient manner. We are therefore looking for someone who is keen to learn about lettings and assisting landlords and tenants in their requirements. You will be based both in the office and out on appointments on a day to day basis. Whilst there is no typical lettings day, tasks will include:

- Booking appointments, to include viewings, property inspections and meetings with landlords
- Answering calls from landlords, tenants and contractors and efficiently dealing with their queries
- Facilitating the collection of rent and payment to landlords
- Undertaking compliance based task such as organising Gas Certification, Electrical safety tests, licencing.
- Dealing with any maintenance issues that arise and keeping the landlord updated throughout
- Conducting viewings
- Conducting property inspections & reporting back to landlords
- In depth property check outs
- Inventories
- Property marketing and general brand awareness on social media platforms

**Skills**

As a trainee position, we do not expect previous experience in Lettings or Sales. The company is looking for a genuinely enthusiastic individual who is looking to start a new career or change direction in their current career path. The role requires a balanced skill set of the ability to interact with people and have good communication with a desire to learn. The successful applicant will have thorough attention to detail, great communication skills and willingness to learn. We will provide full training for the role and we will encourage the new team member to undertake a professional qualification

It is however essential that an applicant has
- A driving licence
- Excellent time-keeping
- An ability to listen and learn
- Ability to use modern IT software packages and have basic numeracy skills
- Good interpersonal skills.

**Job type**: Full time. Monday-Friday only

Experience: Customer service 1 year (preferred)

**Salary**: £23,639.00-£25,346.00 per year
