**PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR**
Hunters 4 Staff are delighted to be assisting our client who are a successful and established engineering business within the ST4 area of Stoke On Trent with seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator who has 1-2 years of experience within a similar role, experience within the engineering industry is highly advantageous.
The role will be supporting the Procurement Manager and will include:
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Liaising with suppliers
- General administration tasks
- Using initiative
- Potentially liaising with clients
**Requirements**:
- Experience in procurement or supply chain management would be advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
The most important attribute that our client are looking for is someone who has ambition and drive and is looking to make a difference by using initiative
Eventually the role will develop to a Junior Buyer role and you will be trained on obtaining quotes and providing estimates and will become a critical person in the business with a long and exciting career ahead of them.
Salary - £24,000 - £28,000
Hours - Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)
