Search Consultancy are looking for a Specialised yard operative with a chemical background and a forklift truck (counterbalance) licence. You will be located between our main yard in Trafford Park and our partner Company in Eccles town Centre.
The role will include physical tasks such as washing, drying, cutting, shredding, testing, baling and processing of various plastic and steel containers, segregation of plastics and cardboard for recycling and the management of waste leaving site includingbut not limited to effluent drum waste.
Forklift tasks will include loading and unloading of palletised containers off vehicles as well as general yard organisation. This will involve repetitive tasks and machinery so good concentration and attention to detail is essential to upkeep our high standardof quality to our customers. The ability to lift up to 17kg and working outside and in open warehouses all year round is a necessity.
Due to the job being split between two sites a driving license is essential to travel between sites. Previous chemical experience and forklift truck license is essential.
Hours: 6.00am - 2.00pm Tuesday to Saturday.

**Salary**: £10.25 per hour
Attendance bonus: £5 a day paid monthly (roughly approximate to an additional £0.63 per hour)
Monthly and yearly performance bonuses available.
Full training and PPE will be given to the successful applicant.
