Water is a human beings most valuable commodity. At southern water we need to make sure that our customers are receiving a continuous supply of fresh water.

Southern Water are looking for a five Shift Controllers to assist with the running and upkeep of Testwood Water Supply Works. You will earn a salary of up to £30,800 per annum depending on skills and experience. You will be entitled to additional shift payments plus wide range of benefits including BUPA healthcare, Perkbox and eligibility for a company bonus.

This is a full-time permanent position consisting of the following hours:
- x2 days (0600-1800) x2 nights (1800-0600) in a block of 7, then 18 days off.

You will undertake key responsibilities which oversee a continuous operation of the water supply works which will guarantee that no 2 days are the same. As a shift controller you will ensure that non potable water as specified by the DWI regulations does not leave our site, guaranteeing that water quality is fit for supply to protect public health. Your reactionary skills will come into play to respond to high level alarms and process changes.

Due to the location being a fair distance from any public transport, ownership of a Drivers Licence is crucial for the role.
