Workshop Controller

As a Workshop Controller and Mechanical Technician you will play a key role, ensuring the workshop runs smoothly and efficiently. You will calculate and manage the use of workshop resources effectively, monitoring staff and workshop performance to maintain standards. As a Workshop Controller you will allocate work to the Technicians based on the mix of skills available and resolve queries according to dealership and manufacturers guidelines. Vansco Ltd are not a customer facing company all of our Work is from our Vast hire fleet and Van sales Business. Primarily the Job Will entail managing the workshop and 4 Full time Technicians we have currently, But we are looking for someone who is not worried about getting there hands dirty and will Help out with mechanical works where necessary. This workshop is currently a blank canvas ready for a controller to implement there own procedures to bring down costs and improve productiviy.
