A leading tech marketplace are looking for a Director/Head of Analytics

**THE COMPANY**

As a Director/Head of Analytics in this company, you will be heading up a high-performing function working across all of their global markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to help drive optimisation and growth by delivering customer-based insights andstrategies whilst working in the company's fast-paced environment using advanced techniques.

**THE ROLE**

As a Director/Head of Analytics leading the function, you will have an outstanding opportunity to help take the business to the next level. To be successful, you will be excited to solve problems involving big data, numerical interpretation, consultationof marketing leads, and translation of insights into real solutions based on the company's objectives.

As a Director/Head of Analytics in this company, you will be working to develop the existing team identifying key opportunities for talented individuals whilst also growing the team with new hires. Leading areas such as Acquisition, Loyalty, Retention andMemberships, you will be working on delivering large scale projects across retention, loyalty, and general customer/CRM analytics. A key focus for them is adding to the current Data Science projects to improve the use of advanced analytics across the business.

More specifically you can expect to be involved in the following:

- Driving strategic decisions in this side of the business
- Building relationships with stakeholders and team members across the business
- Leading a high performance team
- Understanding and leading teams who will report on the drivers of business performance
- Advocating test and learn
- Facilitation of hypotheses and assumptions, quantifying and challenging throughout

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

The successful Director/Head of Analytics will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience working within a customer-centric data environment
- Experience managing teams that use SQL and either Python or R
- High attention to detail with confidence in dealing with ambiguity
- Good problem-solving skills whilst being proactive, approachable and flexible
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Success in managing large teams providing analytics in areas such as customer insights, CRM analytics, channel analysis, attribution, loyalty etc.
- Proven ability to lead a thriving team whilst determining large scale strategic decisions, with the delivery to stakeholders across the business

**THE BENEFITS**

The successful Director/Head of Analytics will receive a salary of up to £130,000. In addition to this, they shall receive an extensive benefits package.
