David Wood Baking Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Coordinator to join the company to support the sites in maintaining their health surveillance requirements.

The position will be based at our Dudley site but will involve supporting all other sites within the DWB group.

Hours of work: 40 to 45hrs per week (Mon-Fri) - Negotiable

**The Role**:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Coordinator to join an established company where you will manage the full remit of Occupational Health working alongside our external Occupational Health Provider and the sites HR/H&S leads to improve the Health and Wellbeing of our employees. As an Occupational Health Coordinator you will be required to play an active role in the efficient delivery of this service. Within the role you will use your expertise in data input, database management, diary management/coordination and preparation of reports.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Review and maintain the sites occupational health needs analysis
- Update and maintain the health surveillance management system ensuring all data is accurate, such as the site OH reports
- Review and maintain the service level agreement with the health provider
- Review OHA and OHP certificates/qualifications
- Maintain policies and procedures relating to occupational health, with support from the sites health and safety leads
- Liaising with the HR Leads ensuring pre-employment checks/new starter medical assessments are carried out
- Supporting the associated undertakings/activities of the Occupational Health Providers, including the coordination of clinics and referrals
- Maintaining and updating employee health records

- Strong organisational and administration skills
- The ability to work in a confidential setting, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity at all times
- A professional and sensitive approach when dealing with our key stakeholders: clients, staff and colleagues
- Experience of Health screening / surveillance
- Knowledge of/experience in supporting employee welfare activities / benefits
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to be flexible, analytical and adaptable
- Ambition to develop to achieve personal and business goals
- Ability to work independently and within a Team across all levels, departments
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of a business
- IT literate
- Ability to work flexibly in line with the needs of the business

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
