Operations Administration Assistant

The Operations Administrator is responsible for supporting the Operations team with general project administration tasks, including scheduling the work of the site teams, booking material deliveries to sites, liaising with clients as well the various sales and workshop teams. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. The role reports to the Operations Manager.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure site requirements and specifications are met in respect of plant, machinery and materials
- Liaise with clients to organise site team inductions
- Book travel and hotel accommodation as necessary for site teams
- Print, plot, copy and scan documents and drawings from various document media
- Establish and compile digital and physical project folders and site start packs.
- Process and file Company site-related documentation and weekly reports.
- Input information into computerised sales order processing system, as required.
- Ensure non-conformities are reported promptly
- Assist the project estimator and quantity surveyor with tasks, and be willing to learn in order to support these roles
**Key Challenges**
- Understanding internal and external customer needs and taking responsibility for delivering excellent customer service
- Dealing promptly with enquiries and requests
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
**Experience and Technical Skills Required**
- Previous experience in a similar role working in a manufacturing, construction or engineering environment
- Some knowledge of estimating, project planning, plant hire and health and safety
- Excellent telephone manner and written communication
- PC Literate including experience of Microsoft Office programmes and Sage
- Motivated, excellent organisational and negotiating skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £21,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
