DOORCO in Macclesfield is growing and we are currently seeking an HGV Shunter Driver to join our busy Transport team. The position will suit individuals who enjoy a variety of work within transport and driving.

The role involves a combination of transporting stock from our second warehouse in Macclesfield to our main site, loading our HGVs and loading our vans. A Class 2 licence is required for this role and an FLT qualification is desirable. We are looking for people who are hardworking, flexible and with an appreciation of safety and safe loading.

Our induction and in-house training will support your transition to a new industry with lots of potential.

A day in the life of a DOORCO Delivery Driver will include working in a fast-paced family-owned company, facilitating the loading of manufactured doors for trade customers, with safety at the heart of our business.

This great Shunter Driver opportunity will require:

- You to ensure that all vehicles are loaded in time
- You to be responsible for all vehicle loads being safe and secure
- You to be able to work on your own initiative

The usual standard working hours are 12:00-21:00 with a shift supplement for each day worked.

In return you will need a valid Class 2 driving license with no more than 3 penalty points, experience of driving delivery vehicles, a strong work ethic and excellent customer communication skills.
