**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Drink Service**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards.
- Recommend drinks and offer pairing suggestions with food.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu offerings and new products.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Greet and interact with customers in a warm and engaging manner.
- Take and deliver drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor responsible alcohol consumption and comply with licensing laws.
- **Bar and Restaurant Support**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and workstation.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
- Support the food service during busy times, especially with explaining or serving Sri Lankan dishes.
- **Operations and Cash Handling**:

- Handle POS systems and cash/card payments accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate reordering needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a bartender in a UK pub or restaurant.
- Solid knowledge of drink preparation, serving techniques, and food hygiene standards.
- Comfortable supporting restaurant operations and learning about Sri Lankan cuisine.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and operating till systems.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Desirable (Not Essential)**
- Familiarity with Sri Lankan drinks, food, or culture.
- Food Safety and/or Personal Licence certification.
- Experience with live music events or themed nights is a plus.

**How to Apply**

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
