Fencing Contracts Estimator

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Review tender documents and specifications for fencing projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess scope of work, take measurements, and identify any risks or complexities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labour, plant and subcontractor costs.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and up to date material costs.
- Submit timely and accurate tender documents and proposals to clients.
- Work closely with operations and fencing teams to ensure alignment of estimations with actual delivery.
- Work with the Accounts Director to review job costs and profitability.
- Track and manage tenders submitted and follow up with clients to secure work.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date pricing database.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in fencing, construction estimating, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of fencing systems and installation practices.
- Proficient in Excel and general MS Office tools.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Valid UK driving licence.

**Desirable**
- Background in agricultural or commercial fencing.
- Experience with contract negotiation or bid writing.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to construction and rural fencing.

Our equipment allows us to build high-quality fences quickly and safely, delivering robust, long-lasting solutions for our clients.

We also have a skilled team who deliver technical commercial projects such as acoustic and security fencing for our construction clients.

We’re a small company that delivers big results and we have a great team with many years fencing experience between them, who have worked hard to make us the go to contractor for fencing services across Moray, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
