Our team is dedicated to building strong relationships with clients and each other so we can achieve great things together We believe in teamwork, continuous improvement, and celebrating success.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Roofing Sales Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training on damage assessments, roofing products, and the process for helping to restore homeowner's property to like new condition. This role is responsible for responding to warm sales leads by visiting homeowners, conducting roof and property inspections, guiding customers through the restoration process, and providing solutions to help fund any needed repairs. You will also be responsible for generating new leads by canvassing neighborhoods where property damage has occurred and speaking with homeowners about risks and solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Other responsibilities include:Rapidly responding to warm sales leads to close contracts for our servicesGenerating sales leads through neighborhood canvassing and door knockingTraveling to areas recently hit by storm damage to identify signs of roof and property damageClimbing onto roofs and into attics to conduct damage assessments and presenting findings to homeowners (thorough training will be provided)Educating homeowners on the restoration process and serving as a technical advisor to effectively resolve client concernsProviding estimates and funding options and collecting payments as requiredWorking with insurance companies and meeting with adjusters to facilitate the best outcomes possible for homeownersObtaining agreements and contracts from homeowners for roof restoration servicesAttending weekly sales meetings and actively participating in team communicationQualificationsA sales or customer service background is a plus, but not requiredMust possess a valid driver's license with access to reliable vehicle transportationStrong communication and interpersonal skills are required for successCapable of utilizing technology (computer and smartphone apps) and gathering and analyzing informationAbility to climb a ladder and scale roofs for inspectionAbility to work outdoors, including walking and occasionally carrying up to 50 lbsAt least 40 hours of daytime availability weekly (Schedule is flexible, but most Saturdays are required)What We OfferComprehensive Training: We provide thorough, paid training on how to recognize damage and advise homeowners of risks to their property, how to conduct work safely, and we provide a physical product kit to walk homeowners through their optionsAttractive Compensation: A pay structure rewards your personal effort and performanceReal Career Growth Opportunity: Over 95% of our management roles are filled with internal talent, illustrating our commitment to helping our team grow their skills and careersFlexible Schedule and a supportive team environmentCompany-enhanced benefits, including access to Medical, Life, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage as well as 401k for retirementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, a drug-free workplace, and comply with all applicable federal and state regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
