Holiday Cottage Gardener

Summary We are looking for a Gardener, to look after our 17 Holiday Cottage gardens. All the cottages are very individual with gardens to match. We have the large gardens, with several lawn areas and flower beds at Mottistone Manor farmhouse to the basic stonecourtyards at the Coastguards Cottages/Needles. Enthusiasm, energy and self motivation is required.

Your role will be as a Gardener, although within the Trust you title will be Outdoor Holidays Operations Assistant.

**Hours**: 22.5 hours per week would be split over 3 days. Ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Some flexibility and extra hours may be required.

**Contract**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour

What you'll be doing The 17 cottages are situated around the Island, your working days will be divided up into visiting the cottage gardens throughout the 3 days.

Jobs will include mowing, weeding, pruning, raking, care of paths and steps, Keeping flower beds tidy and clear, care of plants and forward planning for seasonal and annual tasks.

An electric van for transport and all tools are provided.

Additional training and courses are also available.
