- Fixed term contract until 31st March 2024
- 37.5 hours per week

Are you experienced mental health practitioner, passionate about supporting children, young people and young adults with mild to moderate mental health needs while being part of a research project assessing access to services by these groups? Join our team

Join our dedicated Mental Health Hub team in Westminster, that provides 1:1 and group support to children, young people and young adults with mild to moderate mental health needs. You will deliver evidence-based interventions to referred clients. This is a chance to make a profound difference and be part of a team that advocates for children, young people and adults up to age of 25 to create lasting change while being part of a research project linked with University College London (UCL).

**You will**:

- Provide support to children/young people/young adults, age 10-25 who live/attend school or reside in Westminster.
- Engage these groups with the Mental Health Hub activities, from 1:1 work, via psychoeducational workshops, art and music therapy or signposting them to most appropriate service if their needs are above our threshold.
- Work closely with Children’s/Adult’s Services and other statutory and voluntary services to provide coordinated and improved service.
- Work closely with other services providing support to Westminster young people and with members of wider BWW Mind staff team.
- Work with people across different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary.

**You are**:

- Able to demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of the unique challenges associated with mental health needs of children, young people, and young adults.
- Equipped with knowledge and understanding of issues relating to safeguarding Children and Young People.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the issues and concerns that affect these groups.
- Able to be flexible and creative in facilitating engagement with children/young people and young adults.
