Community Money Advice (CMA) is a national charity who have a passion to help people overcome their money problems.

Putson Baptist church is in the process of launching the Hereford Community Money Advice (HCMA) service. The vision is to offer a high quality debt advice and support service to each and every client.

The Centre will offer a free service, through committed and fully trained volunteers and staff.

We now seek a Coordinator to assist in taking the project from the initial launch to a fully operational and thriving service.

As the Coordinator you will assist in developing the project from the current launch level to full operation.

Your role will include:
Ø Taking initial enquiries for debt support from both individuals and referring agencies

Ø Assist in the recruitment and oversight of volunteer Money Mentors

Ø Allocate the volunteer case loads

Ø Develop or adapt & update all policies and procedures for the centre

Ø Maintain a functioning office and communications channels

Ø Become an expert user and trainer of the CMA Catalyst software programme

Ø Ensure good communications and develop relationship with CMA central office

Ø Work alongside the Management Board to develop relationships with churches, local authorities, referring partners and community groups both statutory and voluntary.

Ø The ability to prioritise tasks and show attention to detail

Ø Good IT skills

Ø Good verbal and written communication skills across all platforms

Ø An empathy for those facing financial difficulty

Experience of working with volunteers is desirable but not essential.

As the centre expands in the future there will be opportunities for the Coordinator to take on extra responsibility and possibly a management role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
