Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with special educational needs?
A superb long-term SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is available at a progressive primary school in the Birmingham ward of Yardley.

** £350 - £425 per week
The SEN Teaching Assistant:
For this SEN Teaching Assistant position, you must have experience working with young children with special needs. You must be a strong communicator, with a clear understanding of a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, learning and communication difficulties.You should be capable of building a strong rapport with pupils as this is important in the child’s development. You do not need a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant qualification for this position, however experience in this role is required.
The SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant at this school, you will primarily be working with an EYFS child with SEN on a 1:1 basis. You will be assisting with learning and providing a nurturing environment for their educational development. As an SEN Teaching Assistant,you should have experience with learning by play, sensory work, and alternative communication such as Makaton.
The School:
The school is an Ofsted ‘Good’ school based in South Birmingham. You will primarily be working on a 1:1 basis with an EYFS child with SEN, but you will also be providing classroom support for teaching staff. The school has excellent leadership and a strongCPD programme.
