Our client, an Asset Manager, is looking for an experienced Deputy Head of Compliance to join their growing team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance and with oversight for a small team, you will have broad compliance advisory, policy, monitoring and changeresponsibilities across all of the business. Duties will include:

- Supporting the Head of Compliance with day-to-day management and oversight of the Compliance function.
- Daily oversight and management of the Compliance & AML functions.
- Deputising for the Head of Compliance in their absence and advising both the senior management team and the business on their existing and ongoing compliance obligations.
- Work with the business to develop compliance procedures & controls and provide commercially-orientated compliance advice
- Managing and mentoring a small competent Compliance & AML Team
- Oversight for the development, management and execution of the compliance monitoring programme.
- Periodic board and committee reporting and representing compliance on relevant committees.
- Dealing with the regulators and other external parties.

You must be an experienced Compliance Practitioner with a successful track-record as a senior Compliance manager within a UK regulated asset management firm. While an in-depth knowledge and sound understanding of the UK regulatory regime is required youshould also have experience of relevant European regulations.

This role will be to support the Head of Compliance and fully deputise in their absence, so is one of influence, responsibility & integrity and will require someone whose career & experience demonstrates this.
