The Deputy Head of Compliance of this banking organisation will be responsible for ensuring that relevant laws and regulations are adhered to and the bank's policies and procedures comply.

**Responsibilities**
- Supporting the Head of Compliance in carrying out the following compliance responsibilities:

- Monitoring regulatory developments, advising management and staff of such developments and overseeing change. This involves, among other things, the Deputy Head of Compliance summarising new developments for the Head of Compliance and participating in stafftraining.
- Provide regulatory training to relevant members of staff.
- Maintaining a regulatory change tracker with input from other stakeholders.
- Assisting the Head of Compliance for reporting to Board Risk Committee, Board, Compliance & Financial Crime Committee, Group, etc.
- Maintaining a compliance monitoring plan based on the RRM. This should include monitoring the regulatory reporting carried out by Finance.
- Supervising regulatory operational requirements, including FSCSSCV reporting and support with AEOI (FATCA and CRS) matters.
- Responsible for maintaining a robust second line control in relation to FSCSSCV reporting and Continuity of Access - providing clear advice to both IT and Control Unit on the PRA requirements.
- Communicating with the regulators and managing the day-to-day relationships with them in the absence of the Head of Compliance.
- Advising on one-off compliance matters, including transactions, and reviewing new products and services.
- Assisting with investment-related queries and documentation where the bank's Nominees Limited are acting in a nominee capacity.
- Deputising for Head of Compliance in their absence for the Compliance remit of the role.
- To carry out such other duties as requested by the Head of Compliance.

**Requirements**:

- Over 7 years of experience in Compliance within the banking sector.
- Experience of working in a similar environment such as a small bank or financial services organization that is dual regulated;
- Good understanding of HMRCAEoI/CRS reporting.
