- As a member of the Econometrics team, you’ll help to drive efficiency of Sky’s marketing plans through the delivery of econometric insights.

We bring the best from the global market into Sky - we buy technology, marketing, corporate, operational services and editorial production solutions. We are an international team working with our stakeholders our partners to curate the most effective and efficient customer-led operating model. High ethical standards are embedded in our team, and we engage our supply chains in creating a sustainable future

What you’ll do:
- Work to deliver econometric projects for Sky aligned to key business priorities.- Lead the project, from designing and implementing measurement plans, converting the outputs into concrete insights, and presenting findings to collaborators.- Engage with these stakeholders to support the integration of findings in business decisions.- Mentor junior econometricians in the team, supporting their development and coaching them to be future experts in the field.- Collaborate with wider consumer strategy colleagues to champion the reputation of the department across Sky.

What you’ll bring:
- A numerate degree such as Economics, Econometrics, Maths or Statistics.- Experience of delivering or contributing sizeably to econometrics projects with an established provider in the industry.- A passion for using advanced statistical techniques to convert observable data into actionable recommendations.- An understanding of media planning and buying and experience using optimisation techniques to inform media planning.- Self-motivation, an enthusiastic attitude and the adaptability to work in a fast paced and dynamic commercial context.- A strong record of modelling, ideally with experience of upskilling junior econometricians in modelling principles and best practices.- Excellent written and oral communication skills - be an articulate, positive communicator, with experience of delivering results and recommendations to impact commercial decision making.

Where you’ll work - Osterley:
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
