**Job Title**: Children's Residential Support Worker
**Location**: Manchester, UK
**Salary**: £24,000 - £29,000 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in allowance)

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Permanent
**Shift Pattern**: Rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

**Role Overview**:
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our young residents' daily lives, promoting their well-being, and aiding their development. Your responsibilities will include:

- Building trusting relationships to provide emotional and practical support.
- Assisting with daily routines, including meals, education, and recreational activities.
- Encouraging the development of life skills to foster independence.
- Implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of all residents.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a residential setting.
- A compassionate and resilient nature with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- A valid UK driving license is desirable.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

**Desirable**:

- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (or willingness to work towards qualification).
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches.
