Due to growth our client in the services industry is looking to recruit a someone new into their purchasing team. The company are in the process of improving procurement processes, from customer request to product delivery, and are looking for an experiencedAdministrator to assist the Procurement Manager in developing and executing new processes with a focus on customer satisfaction at all times.

The role will combine elements of sales administration, ordering, and stock control; it will be a highly visible role within the business, giving you broad exposure and allowing you to further enhance your already highly developed communication skills. Dutieswill include:

- Ensuring a monitor of the current stock position is kept at all times, taking into account rate of sale and other influencing factors
- Managing a process which continuously ensures the correct stock level of products is maintained
- Working with the sales team to fully understand the stock requirements, availability of supply, and timescales of new & existing contracts
- Monitoring supplier compliance in terms of price and delivery, advising the Procurement Manager of any issues

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Strong commercial awareness and good numerical skills - spreadsheets will be used daily for analysis and reports and being able to spot potential supply issues is key
- Experience on an internal database system
- Experience working in a high volume processing environment or on high level multi-faceted projects
- Confident communication skills - to enable you to work across all departments in the business collaboratively
